About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SmartActions collects, uses and shares information when you visit smart-actions.com, use our writing, translation, transcription and developer tools, or contact us. In this policy, “we” and “our” refer to the team operating SmartActions. For privacy questions or requests, email support@smart-actions.com.

Account and service records

Google sign-in provides an account identifier and email address. Our production login does not request the profile scope or persist your Google name or profile image. We maintain sessions, credit balances, execution status and credit activity to authenticate you, run the service, resolve failures and prevent abuse. Infrastructure providers may process technical connection and security information, including IP addresses.

Google sign-in and your permissions

We use Google sign-in to identify your account, not to access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar. Our login requests basic identity information through OpenID Connect: openid and email. We do not receive your Google password. Authentication records, including provider credentials returned during sign-in, are handled by our authentication service and are not included in analytics events. You can sign out from SmartActions and remove its access in your Google Account settings. Removing Google access does not by itself delete SmartActions account records; contact us to request deletion.

Your tool content

Developer tools process content in your browser; authorization and credit metadata still reach our service. AI writing, translation and transcription send the content needed for the task to our service and configured model providers. Our application database does not retain tool input bodies or generated results. This does not mean that third-party providers have no retention: their own terms and policies apply. Do not submit secrets or sensitive material unless you have assessed that processing.

Browser storage and downloads

Session cookies support sign-in. Browser session storage may keep account-and-tool-scoped drafts while you work, and browser storage may hold interface preferences. Downloads remain under your control. Execution history is not a backup of results; save anything you need before leaving.

Why we use information

We use information to provide requested tools, maintain accounts, manage credits, investigate errors, respond to support requests and protect the service against fraud and abuse. Where applicable, we rely on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent when required. We do not sell your personal information or use tool content for advertising profiles.

Service providers and disclosure

Cloudflare hosts our application and D1 database and routes support email. Google provides sign-in and Gmail delivery for support. Configured AI gateway and model providers receive the content required to process AI tasks. Their processing and retention are governed by the applicable provider policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not give other users access to your account records.

Firebase / Google Analytics

Firebase / Google Analytics is enabled on our production website and initializes automatically according to the site's environment configuration. Our separate testing environment uses a different Analytics property. Analytics helps us understand tool usage, completion and failures using limited events such as tool selection, preview, sign-in initiation and execution status. We also record known page navigation, interactions with a tool before and after preview, sign-in or execution, file selection, confirmed sign-in, copy and download actions, and page visibility, time spent, and periods without interaction. Event parameters may include the tool identifier, output language, provider, credit cost, bounded status reasons, and random page-visit or execution identifiers. File names and field values are not collected by these events. We do not intentionally send your email, name, Google account ID, authentication tokens, tool input, uploaded content or generated results to Analytics. Analytics may use cookies and device identifiers and process browser, device and connection information under Google’s Privacy Policy. Our integration disables advertising personalization and Google signals and avoids sending OAuth query strings. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, use privacy tools to block tracking, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls may affect collection or site functionality and do not erase information already collected. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Support messages

Messages sent to support@smart-actions.com are routed through Cloudflare to the support administrators’ Gmail inboxes. Your address, correspondence and any attachments are processed by the support team and email providers to answer your request. Support correspondence is separate from tool execution history. Do not email passwords, API keys, sign-in codes or unredacted sensitive documents.

Retention and international processing

We retain account, credit and operational records only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Support messages are retained as needed to resolve and follow up on requests. Tool inputs and generated results are not retained in our application database. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, and their retention practices may differ. Where required, transfers are subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Sign-in verification

We use Cloudflare Turnstile before Google sign-in for both new and returning users to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes browser and connection signals and may ask you to complete an interactive check. New accounts receive welcome credits after verification succeeds. Users signing in again repeat this verification. Normal use with an existing valid session does not repeat it. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Security and your choices

We use access controls, protected authentication credentials and encrypted HTTPS connections to help protect information. No system is completely secure. You can sign out, manage Google permissions and clear browser storage; clearing storage may remove unsaved work. To request access, correction, deletion or restriction of account information, contact support@smart-actions.com from your account email where possible. We may verify your identity and retain records required for legal, security or accounting purposes. Rights, objection rights and the right to complain to a supervisory authority depend on applicable law.

Children and policy changes

SmartActions is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are below the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction; where required, a parent or guardian must authorize use. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We will update this policy when our practices change and provide additional notice of material changes where required. The date above identifies the latest version.
